Information reaching Viewers Corner revealed that the former governor of Akwa Ibom state, Mr Godswill Akpabio stocked his home with foreign currency (U.S. dollars).
This revelation was made known during a search in his home by Nigerian State Security Service (SSS). The question Viewers Corner is asking these men is, why not invest this money or use it to build industries that can at least give out jobs to Nigerian youths and every other Nigerian person that want to work instead of keeping it in a room? This is economic waste, knowing fully well that Nigerians need employment so that they can be able to feed their families.
These men in Nigeria never thought that President Buhari would ever be elected, right now there is fire on the mountain and the country Nigeria is a bit hot for all those that have skeletons inside their cupboards. Again, these group of men took the laws into their own hands by looting the Nigerian treasury, some of these politicians during Goodluck Jonathan’s re-election campaign donated billions of Naira in a bid for him to win the election so that looting can continue but God Almighty said no and brought President Buhari who is now trying his best to clean up the Nigerian system and rebuild the damages done to the economy by the previous administrations.
Honestly, it is time for us to change our attitude towards our fellow human beings, let us be our brothers keeper. Once again, Viewers Corner is appealing to all those that stole from the Nigerian treasury to quietly return the money to the federal government so that President Buhari can at least have a starting point where he would have some funds to implement his programs because Nigerians are waiting anxiously for the economy to start booming again.
