Viewers Corner News gathered that the Israeli former defense minister, Binyamin Ben-Eliezer is dead. Ben-Eliezer had been sick for several years and he died on Sunday, August 28th. He was 80 years old.
He served as his country’s (Israel) defense minister during ex-Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s government from 2001 to 2002 and in 2015, he was charged with taking bribes, money laundering, fraud and tax offences which he was accused of having received payments from businessmen while in office. His trial which he did not attend due to his sickness is still pending in the court until his death. May his soul rest in peace.
