The federal government of Nigeria under the leadership of President Buhari has never failed for once in paying state allocations across Nigeria but the problem is that most governors in the country (Nigeria) would prefer to divert the money meant for workers salaries and pensioners allowances for private use which is the truth.
Now hear this: Bayelsa state government alone received over 13 billion Naira as monthly allocation from the federal government of Nigeria. This is only for one month and if care is not taken, workers in Bayelsa state would not be paid. We (Viewers Corner News team) are calling on governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa state (Nigeria) to pay workers salaries and pensioners allowances including the arrears he owes them. It is the workers and pensioners rights to receive their monthly salaries and allowances respectively. Again as a governor, it is a must that workers in your state including pensioners get their money as at when due. You are not doing them a favour when you pay them but their right as human beings because they worked for it and deserve to be paid. Please pay them now as you have already received the state monthly allocations.
