The recent statement made by Ayo Fayose, the Ekiti state Governor should be commended. He said that he is not and will never support other Governors in Nigeria that are planning to cut down on the worker’s minimum wage which is 18,000 naira. According to Ayo Fayose of Ekiti state, he told these Governors to cut down on their travels but Viewers Corner analyzed the statement to be that the Governors should cut down on their expensive life styles generally so as to be able to get things done properly in their states. These poor Nigerians receiving 18,000 naira monthly can barely feed well, they can not even buy good things for themselves and now some of these Governors that have no shame and do not care about the welfare of these under paid workers would still want to reduce 18,000 minimum wage. How wicked can an individual be, this is too bad. These are people who voted these Governors to power, instead of increasing their salaries, they want to reduce it.
After four years, these group of good for nothing individuals would come again to start asking these poor people to vote for them, this is very wrong. This time Viewers Corner have a message for some of these Nigerian Governors, please find another means of generating income in your states. Try and cut down on your high life styles, humble yourselves and show more concern to the people of your states because without them, you all would not have been there. If few of these tips as we (Viewers Corner) and Ayo Fayose of Ekiti state suggested are properly followed, definitely the Governors would be able to work better in their various states.
Once again, we (Viewers corner) appreciate Ayo Fayose’s advice to the Nigerian Governors and if the advice is carefully followed, they should be able to lead their states nicely without cutting the minimum wage which is 18,000 naira.
