Aung San Suu kyi of Myanmar is a great woman who has always been speaking her mind on issues that concerns the development, freedom and quality life for the people of Myanmar which the past leaders have denied the country. As a great woman and very courageous, she led a peaceful protest against the army asking them to hand over power to a democratically elected government. She was also placed on house arrest for about 15 years for expressing her opinion on what she believes in. Again, she championed her cause nicely and said a decision has to be made so that the military leaders can hand over power to a civilian government, Aung San Suu Kyi insisted that her position on this aspect will never change. What a great and courageous woman she is. A Retired Military General in Myanmar recently commented that Aung San Suu Kyi would be the future leader of Myanmar and for such a nice speech to have come out from a former Retired Army General, it shows that he sees a great potential in Aung San Suu Kyi as leading Myanmar to a great prominence.
