Aung San Suu Kyi has finally resumed duty as the foreign minister of Myanmar and since then, she has been very busy meeting diplomats and other foreign ministers from other countries around the world. Among them were the Canadian foreign minister, Stephanie Dion who has pledged her country’s support for Myanmar so that other areas of conflicts within the country can peacefully be resolved. Canada is also another great country and has always shown support to various countries around the world most especially as it concerns humanity, love and peace for mankind. Other countries includes China and Italy which Aung San Suu Kyi also hosted their foreign ministers, all these are sincere and nice development which we believe would bring real benefits to the country (Myanmar) and also open doors for more international cooperation between Myanmar and other peace loving nations of the world. Honestly this is part of what democracy stands for and with Aung San Suu Kyi as the foreign minister of Myanmar, the country would benefit a whole lot from the international community.
Again, the Myanmar parliament has created and approved a post which made Aung San Suu Kyi the state counsellor and head of the president’s office. She is also the foreign minister of the country but as it is now, she is as powerful as the president of the country (Myanmar) even if she does not hold the title as a president. What a great, intelligent and focused human being who has come to work for her country so that the voiceless individuals would have the opportunity to live a normal and happy life which the military juntas that ruled the country (Myanmar) for the past 50 years denied the good citizens of Myanmar.
Sincerely we (Viewers Corner) have no doubt in our mind that Aung San Suu Kyi who has fought so hard for democracy to come to Myanmar will surely lead the country nicely. With her political party now in the helm of affairs, this powerful woman knows exactly where she is heading to so that the country (Myanmar) can achieve success at the end.
