ATIKU ABUBAKAR OF NIGERIA IS ONE MAN WITH GOOD IDEAS MOST TIMES ON THE WAY FORWARD FOR NIGERIA, BUT THIS TIME AROUND, HE GOT IT ALL WRONG WITH HIS PUSH TO RESTRUCTURE NIGERIA. THE IDEA FOR NOW IS NOT RIGHT.

Viewers Corner News team commend the effort of APC Senators in the Nigerian senate for blocking the bill which would have given birth to restructuring the country (Nigeria). This goes to show that we still have some senators in Nigeria who can think straight and work nicely, meaning all hope is not lost yet. Again, great move by APC senators and those who assisted them in getting the restructuring bill out of the way. Viewers Corner News team wrote an article concerning the restructuring of Nigeria and what needs to be done to get it right. Mr Atiku Abubakar and his colleagues who were pushing for restructuring agenda in Nigeria missed the point this time around, Nigeria would restructure her system but first before this is done, there are other aspects which should be looked into so as to create room for restructuring the country (Nigeria) when the time comes. In Nigeria today, laws and order are broken down completely, this aspect has to be fixed properly. Support the leadership to implement and enforce the laws without the big names in Nigeria buying justice with their stolen wealth. Get all Nigerians to respect and obey the laws of the country (Nigeria). If this aspect is properly handled, at the end may be Nigeria may not even need to restructure anything anymore. We (Viewers Corner News team) say so because if more powers are shifted to various states in Nigeria as part of the restructuring program as most people suggested, the country (Nigeria) would be placed in the hands of those big names in various states who never wished the ordinary person good. This may sound somehow but is the truth. We have seen in the past how some ex-governors were referred back to their various states as they requested when they were facing corruption charges and at the end all the charges against them were dropped because according to those corrupt trial judges, no strong evidences were found. Ex-governor Ibori of Delta state was one such example and many more which we shall discuss at a future date. We have also seen where those who were granted bail are not keeping to their bail conditions, therefore it may be worst if power is shifted to various states as part of the restructuring program. Nigeria is not ripe to handle this system for now, if it does lawlessness would be the order of the day and any country of the world which does not respect and obey the laws of her country would not move forward like we have seen in Nigeria today. Corrupt leaders who looted the treasury of Nigeria with lots of evidences to send them to jail are still walking freely in the country (Nigeria) because some corrupt judges and lawyers have already been compromised. Manipulations are everywhere because the law is not being enforced which is bad. What Nigeria as a nation needs now is a leadership which can implement and really enforce the laws of the country (Nigeria) and not restructuring as people initially suggested. This aspect of restructuring would come when the country (Nigeria) is stable. Let the laws of the country (Nigeria) take control, corrupt lawyers and judges should be send to jail if they go against the law and in doing so, Nigeria would get her system right. Other progressive nations of the world are doing so too. In Nigeria, governor Ayodele Fayose allegedly paid 75 million Naira to his lawyer to defend him sometime ago, at this point common sense should tell us that part of this huge sum of money would be used to buy justice and at the end the case would be thrown into a trash box. Also there are many of such cases which is not being heard of anymore, therefore Nigeria needs a leadership that can implement and enforce the laws of Nigeria. Leave restructuring alone for now until law and order is properly working in Nigeria.
