AT LEAST TWENTY SEVEN PEOPLE WERE KILLED AND MANY WOUNDED ON FRIDAY IN AFGHANISTAN CAPITAL (KABUL) ATTACK.

It was reported that at least 27 people were killed and about 55 wounded on Friday when gunmen attacked a ceremony in Afghanistan capital Kabul. This is the first major attack in Kabul since the United States reached an agreement with the Taliban to withdraw U.S troops. The ceremony according to report marked the anniversary of the death of Abdul Ali Mazari, an ethnic Hazara leader who was killed in 1995 after being taken prisoner by the Taliban. Abdullah Abdullah, a top Afghanistan political leader was at the ceremony but he escaped unharmed. The Islamic state has claimed responsibility for the attack.
