AT LEAST ELEVEN PEOPLE WERE KILLED AND EIGHT OTHERS WOUNDED BY GUNMEN IN WESTERN BAGHDAD, IRAQ.

It was reported that unidentified gunmen shot dead eleven people and injured eight others including soldiers at Iraqi army post in western Baghdad (Iraq). According to the report, the gunmen in four vehicles attacked the army post at Al-Radhwaniya district using grenades and automatic weapons. The monitoring tower were attacked by the assailants and five members of the tribal Hashed who came out to help repel the attack were among those killed. Our correspondent in Baghdad learned that the Iraqi army and police forces have started search operation to hunt down the attackers. There was no immediate claim of responsibility from any terrorist group.
