AT LEAST 30 PEOPLE WERE KILLED AND 33 OTHERS WOUNDED IN AN ATTACK IN LIBYA MILITARY ACADEMY.

It was reported that at least 30 people were killed and 33 others wounded in an attack on a military academy at Al-Hadhba in Tripoli. Recently, there has been an increase in airstrikes and shelling around Tripoli, causing health facilities and schools to shut down. The military commander Khalifa Haftar of Libyan National Army (LNA) has been sending offensive in Tripoli which is controlled by the internationally recognized Government of National Accord (GNA). Last week Friday, the only functioning airport in Tripoli was shut down due to Rockets and shelling. In order to support the internationally recognized Government of National Accord (GNA) in Tripoli, the Turkey’s parliament passed a bill last week, approving military deployment to Libya. Turkey also condemned the attack on Tripoli’s military academy, said that the international community needs to take urgent steps to achieve a ceasefire.
