AS THE PROBE OF EX-PRESIDENT OLUSEGUN OBASANJO’S 16 BILLION DOLLAR FAILED POWER SUPPLY PROJECT MAY BE ONGOING IN NIGERIA, EFCC SHOULD ALSO RE-VISIT SENATOR ALIYU WAMAKKO’S 15 BILLION NAIRA ALLEGED EMBEZZLEMENT SCAM.

To guarantee fairness on the fight against corruption in Nigeria, such fight should not be selective or negotiable no matter who is involved. It would also bring credibility to Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) of Nigeria who are in the forefront of redeeming the country (Nigeria) of all evil. Based on this, Viewers Corner News team is calling on Mr Ibrahim Magu to also re-visit the ex-governor of Sokoto state (senator Aliyu Wamakko) matter who allegedly embezzled over 15 billion Naira. It was revealed that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission of Nigeria had sometime ago traced to his private bank accounts about 1.7 billion Naira which lots of people in Nigeria believed could be part of the 15 billion Naira he may have embezzled. This money belongs to the people of Nigeria which should be handed over to the federal government of Nigeria. Corruption is the major reason Nigeria can not grow beyond the level the country (Nigeria) is at the moment which urgent solution should be found on how to put an end to such ugly situation. Again, ex-president Obasanjo’s 16 billion dollar failed power supply project is a huge scam but there are other corrupt politicians in Nigeria today who are still moving very freely without the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission of Nigeria inviting them to come for questioning. Nigerians both home and abroad need to see more actions coming from Mr Ibrahim Magu and his agency (EFCC).
