The truth has to be told concerning the rape case involving one Mr. Nnanna Offor who is an aide to governor David Umahi of Ebonyi state and also a member of Ebonyi state secondary education board. If such horrible crime in governor David Umahi’s government is not revealed to the public now that election is getting close, who knows the next child that would fall victim of such terrible rape situation. But the good things now is that the man in question who is Mr. Nnanna Offor has been arrested and was also arraigned in Abakaliki Magistrate court recently. The Magistrate court in Abakaliki (Ebonyi state) adjourned the case till February 2018 meaning that the alleged rapist (Mr. Nnanna Offor) shall spend the Christmas and new year celebration in the prison. Our ((Viewers Corner News team) question now is this; What sexual enjoyment would a 50 year old man like Mr. Nnanna Offor derive from a six year old child? We (Viewers Corner News team) have heard some people in the past saying that before and during election, so many horrible things would begin to happen all in the name of rituals so that those men engaged in this ritual acts and their mentors vying for posts in elections can win the race within their states or country (Nigeria). But in our (Viewers Corner News team) opinion, such claims are not real and also should be seen as devilish. The only way any governor seeking re-election or a governorship aspirant and others can win elections in Nigeria has to do with the candidate’s good records starting from his or her past activities and how compassionate the individual is towards matters of the heart. Now in governor David Umahi’s situation, terrible things have been happening in his government in Ebonyi state and our lead always points to those around him in his administration. In the past, one Miss Uzoamaka Chukwu, an orphan was brutally beaten by Mr Ogbonnya Ene Odi (the coordinator of Ohaozara development centre in Ebonyi state) and his younger brother Enekwachi Ene Odi including two policemen loyal to the coordinator but because the man is governor David Umahi’s boy, the case was thrown into the trash box. Now another senior civil servant (Mr. Nnanna Offor) who is also very close to governor David Umahi’s government has done the raping thing again. This time around, there shall be no cover up. Even some workers in governor David Umahi’s government who privately spoke to Viewers Corner News correspondent in Abakaliki (Ebonyi state) revealed to him that governor David Umahi and his team are allegedly begging the family of this little six year old girl who this shameless man (Mr. Nnanna Offor) allegedly raped to settle out of court because if such case is not properly handled and closed immediately, it could have some negative effects on governor David Umahi’s re-election bid. Again like we (Viewers Corner News team) said earlier in this article, we shall always bring the truth to the Nigerian public and the world because you never can tell which person’s child would be the next victim, but by exposing such atrocity, those evil politicians in Nigeria who are bent on winning elections by destroying lives which they did not create may not do so anymore. However Viewers Corner News team would also like to inform those politicians in Nigeria that the only best way to win any election is through hard work and fulfilling your election campaign promises to the people who stood for hours trying to cast their votes for you to lead them so that they can get a better life. In Ebonyi state, workers’ salaries are not paid in full and pensioners’ allowances are not paid at all. Now how can anyone go out there and vote for such a governor (governor David Umahi of Ebonyi state) to continue leading the state.The answer is zero and based on so many terrible things happening in governor David Umahi’s government in Ebonyi state, a change of leadership is very necessary. Therefore, Viewers Corner News team is appealing to the good people of Ebonyi state to go out en-masse and vote for someone who would put smile on their faces come 2019, certainly not governor David Umahi. Again let us jointly say NO and NEVER to any form of rape or sexual harassment of our children and women which is evil and against humanity. Such horrible act must stop now.
