Viewers Corner News correspondent in Berlin learnt that Angela Merkel, the German Chancellor has expressed outrage on Tuesday, January 6, 2016 over the sexual assaults that were carried out in the western city of Cologne on New Year’s Eve. According to report, the Chancellor expressed her concern when she called the city’s mayor, Henriette Reker and demanded immediate arrest of these good for nothing perpetrators. The assaults took place around Cologne’s main train station near the city’s famous cathedral and German police at the scene said the attackers are young men between the age of 18 to 35 years from the Arab or North African region who gathered in large numbers near the train station drinking alcohol and releasing fireworks on the New Year’s Eve.
