ANDY MURRAY WINS HIS SECOND WIMBLEDON CHAMPIONSHIP AFTER DEFEATING MILOS RAONIC.

Andy Murray has won Wimbledon men’s championship after defeating the 25-year-old Milos Raonic with 6-4, 7-6 (3), 7-6 (2) at the All England Club on Sunday, July 10, 2016. This is the 29-year-old Scot (Andy Murray) second trophy at the All England Club since 2013 and his third Grand Slam championship.
This time, the second-seeded Andy Murray was playing for the first time in his 11th major final with someone other than Roger Federer or Novak Djokovic. Milos Raonic eliminated Federer in the semifinals on Friday while Sam Querrey defeated Djokovic in the third round. Also the sixth seed Milos Raonic is the first Canadian to reach a major final and Murray is the first British man to win multiple Wimbledon singles titles since Fred Perry in 1935 thereby ending the Britain’s 77-year wait for a male champion.
