The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission of Nigeria, under the leadership of the incoming government of Nigeria, will have lots of work to do. They are going to fish out and punish those ex-governors who looted the treasury of their states and rigged their way into the senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, men like Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State. A governor who is so corrupt, dishonest, and incompetent wants to be the Senate President of Nigeria. A first-timer to the senate, skimming his way to be the senate president, but unfortunately for him, the All Progressives Congress has ex-governor Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom State as their preferred choice. Though ex-governor Godswill Akpabio would have been disqualified for a Senate job because of the controversy following his candidacy, Nigeria is a lawless country where those in power believe that they own the country and have decided to install ex-governor Godswill Akpabio as the next Senate president. Meaning that there is nothing anyone can do to stop them. However, when a president duly elected by the majority of Nigerians takes over the leadership of the country, things will change for the better. A situation where a new Nigeria that will work for all the people of the country is going to be built, not the one that works for a few elderly corrupt politicians. Again, the Viewers Corner News team is calling on the youths of Nigeria and others with good intentions for the country to be hopeful. We also want them to know that their stolen mandate will be reclaimed as soon as possible.
