AN EXPLOSION AT UNIPETROL’S PLANT IN KRALUPY NAD VLTAVOU (CZECH REPUBLIC) HAS KILLED SIX PEOPLE AND SERIOUSLY WOUNDED TWO OTHERS.

Six people lost their lives and two others seriously injured on Thursday, March 22 when an explosion occurred at Unipetrol’s plant in Kralupy nad Vltavou about 30 km north of Prague in Czech Republic. According to the report our correspondent gathered, the explosion occurred when the workers were cleaning the storage tank at the refinery which has an annual capacity of 3.2 million tonnes of oil. The cause of the blast was not immediately known. May the souls of the dead rest in peace.
