Viewers Corner’s correspondent in Cairo was informed that an EgyptAir plane carrying 66 passengers that went missing after entering an Egyptian airspace crashed. According to report, the plane crashed in the Mediterranean Sea off the Greek island of Crete on Thursday morning while flying from Paris to Cairo with 66 passengers and crew on board. Panos Kammenos (Greek defense minister) said that the crashed EgyptAir Airbus A320 made abrupt turns and suddenly lost altitude just before vanishing from radar. Investigation is on going to find out the cause of the crash (whether a technical problem or a terror attack).
According to EgyptAir report, those on board includes 30 Egyptians, one Saudi, 15 French passengers, two Iraqis, one Briton, one Canadian, one Kuwaiti, one Sudanese, one Chadian, one Portuguese, one Belgian and one Algerian.
