If the African Union is sincere and believe in the welfare and comfort of her people within the continent of Africa, a president like Mr Teodoro Nguema Obiang of Equatorial Guinea should not have been in power till today. Again the African Union has failed completely in her duties to protect the people of Africa and at the same time work for the development of the continent. This is the man (Teodoro Nguema Obiang) who has been in power for almost 40 years without nothing to show for it in his country but work only for his pocket and that of his associates which is bad. Even his country (Equatorial Guinea) can not boost of a common national football stadium, not to talk of creating facilities that would be of benefit to the people of his country despite the huge natural resources in the country. What a shame? Even as we (Viewers Corner News team) write this article, majority of people in Equatorial Guinea have given up hope based on our findings, they have decided to allow president Teodoro Nguema Obiang and his family to take the country like they have already done. Equatorial Guinea is a family business owned by president Teodoro Nguema Obiang. He conducts elections and re-elect himself to power and no one would ever challenge him. His son owns various mansions across the world, living a lavish life style while majority of people in Equatorial Guinea can barely feed well. President Teodoro Nguema Obiang is an individual with a very low mentality who does not know what leadership is all about. He killed his uncle (Mr Francisco Macias Nguema) by firing squad to get to power and since then, he has held unto power and refused to leave office. President Teodoro Nguema Obiang of Equatorial Guinea has been accused by international community of human rights abuses. He is also believed to be one of the most corrupt leaders in the world as alleged, perhaps his refusal to leave power could be as a result of fear of being arrested by the international community to face criminal charges against him if he steps down from power. Recently some groups of mercenaries allegedly planned a coup to remove him from power but unfortunately, they failed because of lack of adequate planning based on the information Viewers Corner News got from our correspondent residing in Equatorial Guinea. However he may not be lucky in the next attempt and if president Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe who almost spent 40 years in power can be removed just like that, then president Teodoro Nguema Obiang of Equatorial Guinea can also be removed, it is just a matter of time. This man (president Teodoro Nguema Obiang of Equatorial Guinea) is a bad news to his country and a disgrace to Africa and democracy. He has no reason to be in office till today when majority of people in his country (Equatorial Guinea) are living below the poverty line which is bad.
