Take it or leave it the truth must be told, the ex chairman (Mr John Odigie Oyegun) of All Progressives Congress (APC) would have been a better choice for the party (APC), if not the gang up of some corrupt members of APC who did not want him to lead the party anymore. Comrade Adams Oshiomhole who is now the leader of APC is facing series of opposition from members of the party (APC) because of his style of leadership. Now hear this; APC as a political party is known for fighting corruption in the country (Nigeria) but has deviated a bit starting from the day they placed unaffordable fee for primary tickets of various electoral positions. There are lots of great individuals with sound ideas who are members of APC that would want to purchase the ticket to vie for positions of their choice but because of the high cost of that ticket, most of them were unable to do so.
On a wider note, this is part of corruption which is very dangerous meaning that only those who were in government in the past or still in government now, perhaps may have stolen from the treasury of Nigeria could afford such huge sum of money to buy the tickets. Secondly such system encourages those who are able to buy the ticket to start stealing if they are elected to office so as to recover the money they spent during the primary. Meaning that only those at the top would remain in power because they have the money to spend which they got through corrupt enrichment. Such system is bad and if not controlled or changed, it may deprived APC a complete victory come 2019 and also in future elections. It sounds so funny for those supporting APC because of the assumed popularity APC is enjoying at the moment. Again, the great APC under the leadership of Mr John Odigie Oyegun is not the same under the leadership of Comrade Adams Oshiomohole, these are the views of majority of Nigerians both home and abroad based on our (Viewers Corner News team) findings. They also said that comrade Adams Oshiomohole is dragging the party (APC) in a very wrong direction and if nothing is done urgently, APC in no time would become an opposition party.
Look at APC governorship primary in Lagos state (Nigeria), most of those who wanted to vote for governor Akinwunmi Ambode were intimidated by APC thugs loyal to various local government chairmen across the state which is bad. We (Viewers Corner News team) also gathered that a selected few in APC Lagos state wanted governor Ambode to play dirty but his refusal to do so is part of the reasons they want him out which is not fair. Such attitude may drive voters into voting for another political party and at the end would deny APC victory come 2019. However, we (Viewers Corner News team) are pleading with All Progressives Congress (APC) to put their house in order if they really want to win the 2019 general election.
