ALL NIGERIAN SENATORS STARTING FROM WHEN DEMOCRACY CAME TO NIGERIA (1999) UP TO THE PRESENT DAY LAWMAKERS SHALL BE PROBED. DR OLUSEGUN OBASANJO (EX NIGERIAN PRESIDENT) ONCE CALLED THEM THIEVES.

It is very unfortunate to note that majority of those lawmakers representing Nigerians at the National assembly including some senior lawyers in Nigeria are among those behind the downfall of Nigeria. Those Lawmakers everyone both home and abroad expect to maintain and uphold the unity of Nigeria are the ones destroying it which is very bad. Ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo once called the senators of the Federal Republic of Nigeria “THIEVES”, though Dr. Olusegun Obasanjo’s hand is also not clean corruption wise. Infact the Nigerian lawmakers are worse than armed robbers and very dangerous to the Nigerian society. In recent revelation, it was alleged that 17 billion Naira was paid secretly to Nigerian lawmakers by the administration of ex-president Goodluck Jonathan to pass the budget of 2015. What a shame. In our (Viewers Corner News team) calculation, this was done on yearly basis starting from when Nigeria started democracy in 1999 up to the present day lawmakers. Such ugly practice is bad, Nigeria as a country has lost trillions of Naira in the hands of the Nigerian lawmakers alone through corruption. In this situation, how can a country move forward? Honestly, the Nigerian system is completely broken down having seen the rate of stealing those in authority are committing on daily basis. Now hear our (Viewers Corner News team) views on this issue: No country in the world can move forward without re-visiting the past, meaning that those Nigerian lawmakers starting from 1999 lawmakers up to the present day ones shall be probed. More prisons in Nigeria should be built or the old ones expanded because majority of those lawmakers in the country (Nigeria) would in future have to take residence there because in no time, they shall be tried in a competent court of law in the country (Nigeria). It is just a question of time. A leader shall emerge who would be decisive and work to put the records straight by fighting corruption to the fullest regardless of who is involved and when that happens, Nigeria as a country shall regain her lost glory. Again we (Viewers Corner News team) have seen some past presidents of Nigeria and other politicians in the country playing holy by criticizing president Buhari wrongly which is not fair but on the other hand they were major players in the destruction of the Nigerian economy. Surely time shall come for them to give account of what they did to the economy which brought the country (Nigeria) and her citizens to this terrible situation they are at the moment.
