Alhaji Kashim Shettima’s alleged statement is laughable. It was revealed that the vice presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress said that because he is a Kanuri man, northerners are not supporting him to be Alhaji Bola Tinubu’s second in command. We call this alleged statement emotional blackmail. Now hear this; the few things the Viewers Corner News team know about Alhaji Kashim Shetimma which most Nigerians are aware of can be the reason they are not supporting him. It was alleged that Alhaji Kashim Shettima gave cover to a Boko Haram man, who the federal government of Nigeria was looking for. He was also accused of so many irregularities, including corruption when he was in office as governor of Borno state and many more. If governor Babagana Zulum was presented as Alhaji Bola Tinubu’s vice presidential candidate, Nigerians both in the north and in the south would gladly support him because he is a great human being. So do not play emotional cards because Nigerians will not listen to such sentiment. Again, All Progressives Congress shot itself in the foot by making its presidential ticket a Muslim Muslim one. In Nigeria, such a ticket can not see the light of day. So no matter how the All Progressives Congress tries to campaign to Nigerians that they would do things differently, they can not win the presidential election of Nigeria. The All Progressives Congress has ruined the economy of Nigeria, so Nigerians can not give them another chance to continue in office. This is the truth, take it or leave it.
