The 56 year old former Crystal Palace and Newcastle coach has been appointed by West Brom as the football club head coach. Alan Pardew will replace Tony Pulis who the club (West Brom) sacked on Monday, November 20, 2017, West Brom was left one point above the relegation zone after playing ten Premier League matches without victory. Alan Pardew signed a contract with West Brom until the end of the 2019-20 season. In 2012, Pardew who had managed 302 Premier League matches with four different clubs was named League Managers’ Association Manager of the Year in 2012. In December 2, 2017 West Brom will play against Crystal Palace, the first game of Pardew with West Brom.
