A new city being developed in Senegal which is called the “Akon city” shall rank shoulders with Dubai or any other modern city in the world or may even be better than them after completion. The Akon city is the brain work of Mr Akon, a Senegalese-American singer who wants to make the continent of Africa take its rightful position in the world. The Akon city would cost about six billion dollar or more to be completed. If other African countries would stop stealing from the treasury of their various countries and focus on the future, they would have more than enough money to make the continent of Africa live her dreams. Look at Nigeria for example, the amount of money which ex-petroleum minister of Nigeria (Mrs Diezani Alison Madueke) allegedly stole from the treasury of the country (Nigeria) can build many of such Akon city in Nigeria or any part of Africa but because of greed, selfishness and I do not care attitude which she exhibited by stealing the wealth of the country (Nigeria), such dream can not become reality. Mrs Diezani Alison Madueke (Nigeria’s ex-petroleum minister) and her associates were among those who put Nigeria in this economic hardship people of the country (Nigeria) are passing through at the moment.
