AFRICAN UNION THREATENED TO REVOKE THE MEMBERSHIP OF SUDAN IF CIVIL RULE IS NOT ESTABLISHED IN THE COUNTRY WITHIN 15 DAYS.

African Union has given the Sudanese military 15 days to establish civil rule or the country’s membership will be revoked. According to the report our correspondent gathered, the African Union Peace and Security Council condemned and rejected the Sudanese military takeover of power and its plan to rule the transition for 2 years. Last week Thursday, the Sudanese former president (Omar al-Bashir) was forced out of power by the military following months of protests in the country. It was reported that Omar al-Bashir has been moved to Kobar maximum security prison.
