ABOUT SEVENTY EIGHT MIGRANTS HAVE BEEN RESCUED OFF THE COAST OF CHEBBA BY TUNISIAN NAVY.

Tunisian Navy have rescued about 78 migrants including two girls off the coast of Chebba after their damaged and leaking vessel en route to Europe was stranded for three days. The good news according to the defense ministry is that nobody died in the incident. In Turkey, a fishing boat carrying migrants sank off Turkey’s Black Sea coast on Friday, killing not less than 15 people and about 13 are still missing. Our correspondent also learned that about 40 people have been rescued by search and rescue team which included two helicopters and commercial boats. Efforts are still in progress to search for the other missing migrants. Migrants in war torn countries like Syria, Iraq, Libya are risking their lives on daily basis to make perilous voyage to Europe where they believe to find a better life.
