ABOUT 18 MAOIST REBELS IN ODISHA STATE HAVE BEEN KILLED BY THE INDIAN POLICE.

Viewers Corner News got report that about 18 Maoist insurgents in Odisha (eastern state of the country) were killed by an Indian police on Monday, October 24, 2016. According to the report, the Indian police after receiving a tip-off, tracked these rebels to a remote forest where they engaged them in gunfight and Officers also seized automatic rifles and ammunition from this rebel group. This is one of the heaviest casualties suffered since this year by the Maoist insurgents who have fought war against the Indian state for over ten years). Few months ago (in July), the Maoist rebels killed ten members of an elite Indian police force in Bihar state.
The Maoist rebels are fighting Indian government for exploiting their mineral resources without developing their impoverish region (east and central regions of the country).
