Despite the federal monthly allocation various state governments in Nigeria receive from the federal government of Nigeria, still pension allowances for Nigerian Seniors (Pensioners) are not properly paid. We ask those governors in Nigeria why? These are Seniors (Pensioners) who worked throughout their lives assisting in their own ways to make Nigeria great. They deserve to be paid their allowances without delays now they are old. This is their God given right because they worked for it and should receive their monthly allowances properly. It is not a favour but their right as Nigerian Seniors (Pensioners) which most state governments in Nigeria have decided not to pay to them, this is bad. In the past, Abia state government said that they were owing the Abia state Seniors (Pensioners) five months allowance but majority of those Seniors (Pensioners) Viewers Corner News Correspondent spoke with in Abia state recently revealed that for 15 months, their pension allowances have not been paid by Abia state government. This means the state government lied, therefore we (Viewers Corner News team) are appealing to Abia state government to kindly pay those Seniors (Pensioners) their allowances as soon as possible. They deserve the best at their old age so that they can live longer before leaving this planet earth. If they are sick and there is no money to take treatment, it then means their lives would be in danger and the stress alone of not getting their allowances could affect their health situation seriously. Please state governors in Nigeria always think about the welfare of Nigerian Seniors (Pensioners) and pay what rightfully belongs to them because someday you would be in their position if you are lucky to get to that age. If you treat them wrongly such attitude of yours may come back to hurt you. Again Abia state government should pay the Seniors (Pensioners) all the allowances they owe them, it is their right which should be paid to them without delay. Please do it now and save the Seniors (Pensioners) from stress related illnesses which may lead to death.
