Viewers Corner’s correspondent in Abuja, Nigeria informed us that the former chairman of the Presidential tax team on pension matters, Abdulrasheed Maina is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Abdulrasheed Maina, Steve Oronsaye (former Head of the Civil Service of the Federation) and others are being accused of a fraudulent biometrics contract to the value of two billion Naira.
Some of these men are wicked and have no human sympathy, now if you embezzled this huge amount of money as alleged, how do you want the pension division of your ministry to function effectively? This is very wrong and as part of Buhari’s program to stamp out corruption in Nigeria, Abdulrasheed Maina, Steve Oronsaye and others would have to face the law. Viewers Corner is so pleased with President Buhari’s system most especially his actions on corruption, he is the only one that has taken the fight to a very high level which no leader in Nigeria has ever done.
Corruption is a disease and if not properly cured, is capable of killing a whole nation but we thank the Almighty God for bringing President Buhari to cure this terrible and deadly disease that has eaten so deep in the Nigerian society.
