It was reported that a 32-year-old Thailand soldier identified as Sgt. Maj. Jakrapanth Thomma killed 29 people and wounded 57 others in the northeastern Thai city of Nakhon Ratchasima before he was shot dead on Sunday. According to the report, the soldier was angry over a financial dispute. He held an overnight siege at the city’s Terminal 21 shopping center with an assault rifle and ammunition stolen from his army base.
