A SUICIDE BOMBER BLEW HIMSELF UP NEAR KART-E SAKHI SHRINE IN KABUL, KILLING MORE THAN THIRTY PEOPLE AND WOUNDED MANY OTHERS.

It was reported that a suicide bomber blew himself up on Wednesday near Kart-e Sakhi shrine in Kabul (Afghanistan capital), killing not less than thirty people and wounded dozens. This happened as the people were celebrating Nowruz holiday, marking the beginning of the Persian new year. The Islamic State group have claimed responsibility, saying that the attack was specifically targeted on Shi’ites celebrating Nowruz. Afghan capital (Kabul) has experienced series of attacks by the Islamic state extremists, in January about 100 were killed in central Kabul.
