Viewers Corner was informed by our source in Singapore that an Airbus A330-300 (a Singapore Airlines jet) that was to be scheduled to fly from Singapore Changi Airport at 7:35 a.m on Sunday, October 11, 2015 to Hong Kong collapsed when an engineer was conducting a routine landing gear system checks.
The good news is that there was no recorded casualties, there was no passenger or crew member on board at the time and an engineer who was on the aircraft did not sustain any injury according to the report.
Another aircraft was used for the flight to Hong Kong but passengers were delayed for more than 40 minutes of the scheduled departure time before the replaced plane took off to Hong Kong.
