A regional court in Frankfurt (Germany) was on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, sentenced John Ausonius (a Swede) to life in prison for killing Blanka Zmigrod (a Jewish restaurant employee) in 1992. According to the information our correspondent gathered, John Ausonius (64-year-old) believed that the woman stole his electronic diary. The case was reopened in 2014 by prosecutors as part of a nationwide review of suspected far-right killings. In 2016, Sweden agreed to extradite Ausonius from Sweden where he is serving a life sentence to Germany.
