Viewers Corner News correspondent in Riyadh reported that a peace deal which will end Yemen’s bloody war has been signed on Tuesday, 5 November 2019 between internationally recognized Yemeni government and southern separatists backed by United Arab Emirates. The Saudi Arabia crown prince (Mohammed bin Salman) announced the agreement, and described it as a crucial step towards a political solution to end Yemen’s bloody four-year war. The two sides (Yemeni government and the southern separatists) came together in Riyadh to sign the power-sharing agreement. In the deal, there will be reshuffle in the government to include the southern separatists with equal representation, and their armed forces will be placed under government control. All military and security forces will be incorporated into the defence and interior ministries. The Yemen war which began four years ago has killed thousands of people and displaced millions.
