A NEW DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED PRESIDENT HAS EMERGED IN BURKINA-FASO AFTER 30 YEARS OF HARD RULE.

A new President of Burkina-Faso, Mr Roch Marc Christian Kabore was recently sworn in. He served as a minister in Blaise Compaore’s government and later went on opposition in 2014. Now he is democratically elected as the President of Burkina-Faso, this is very nice. There is no better means to lead a country than when the citizens of the country choose an individual through a democratic process to lead them, this should be seen as government of the people but only when practised in a more transparent manner without manipulations and refusing to step down after the specified period has been completed  as specified by the constitution of the country. This system of government if followed correctly with openness, surely every citizen of the country stands a better chance of enjoying the real dividend of a democratic system/process.
We (Viewers Corner) would also use this opportunity to plead with other African countries that are still practising dictatorship system of government to have a rethink and follow a democratic process because this is the only way to achieve real development.

Mr Roch Marc Christian Kabore

Once again, we are appealing to the newly elected President of Burkina-Faso, Mr. Roch Marc Christian Kabore to use his good office and create job opportunities, good infrastructures and all other amenities that would better the lives of all the citizens of Burkina-Faso because that is why you are elected in the country to lead them. Again, never involve yourself in corrupt practices because it is a disease that is capable of killing a country.
