Over 250 people were on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 killed when a military plane crashed in a field outside Algiers (Algeria capital). According to our source, the plane was heading to Tindouf, an area on Algeria’s border with Western Sahara, but crashed near Boufarik airport southwest of Algiers. Those that died in the crash are mostly the military and their family members, others includes 10 crew members and 26 members of Polisario (an Algerian-backed group fighting for the independence Western Sahara and other passengers. This is the country’s (Algeria) worst air disaster. May the souls of the dead rest in peace.
