According to our correspondent in Berlin, the woman was detained and held at the al-Hawl camp in northeastern Syria by Kurdish forces earlier this year. The woman left Germany to Syria in 2014 and married a member of the Islamic State. She and her husband allegedly lived at Tal Afar (Iraq) in a house seized by the Islamic state.
