A FORMER PERMANENT SECRETARY (MR CLEMENT ONUBUOGU ILLOH) WHO WAS JAILED FOR FIVE YEARS NOT TOO LONG AGO DESERVES WHAT HE GOT.

Mr Clement Onubuogu Illoh, a former permanent secretary at the ministry of labour and productivity would spend the next five years in the prison for stealing 14 million Naira. This is a welcome news. We (Viewers Corner News team) would also use this opportunity to call on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) of Nigeria to extend their nets to other areas because there are lots of people in Nigeria who are in this category but have not been prosecuted. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) of Nigeria should go after them and make sure that they pay for the crimes they committed against the people of the country (Nigeria). Nigeria and her people are facing economic hardship today because of such group of people who have chosen to render the country (Nigeria) penniless. Money that would have been used to execute vital projects for the people of Nigeria gets into private pockets which is bad. If you are put in a position of authority, do your job nicely, create an atmosphere that would make the people of your country (Nigeria) be comfortable and as a leader, this is what you owe the country and her people.
