A COURT IN TURKEY HAS SENTENCED ALBULKADIR MASHARIPOV TO LIFE IN PRISON FOR A NIGHTCLUB ATTACK IN 2017.

It was reported that Albulkadir Masharipov from Uzbekistan was sentenced to a life in prison for an attack he carried out on New Year’s Eve at Reina nightclub (Istanbul) in 2017 which killed 39 people and wounded many. According to the report our (Viewers Corner News) correspondent in Istanbul gathered, Albulkadir Masharipov was charged with multiple offences including membership of a terror group and 39 counts of murder. The judge sentenced him to 40 separate life in prison without parole and another 1,368 years in prison for attempted murder. On 1st January 2017, a gunman forced his way inside the Reina nightclub where people were celebrating New Year’s Eve and opened fire on crowds inside. He killed thirty nine people and wounded seventy nine others. He (Albulkadir Masharipov) escaped after the attack but was arrested in a police raid 15 days later.
