A COURT IN HAMBURG (GERMANY) HAS CONVICTED AHMAD ALHAW OF MURDER AND ATTEMPTED MURDER FOR KILLING ONE PERSON AND WOUNDED SIX PEOPLE LAST YEAR AT A GERMAN SUPERMARKET.

Ahmad Alhaw,  27-year-old Palestinian man was on Thursday, March 1, 2018 convicted of murder and attempted murder by a court in Hamburg for stabbing to death one person and wounded several others at a German supermarket last year. He was sentenced to life in prison and our correspondent learned that Ahmad Alhaw told authorities that he saw his action as a contribution to a worldwide jihad. On the day of the attack (July 28, 2016), Ahmad Alhaw entered a supermarket, snatched an eight-inch knife from the shelves, unwrapped it and fatally stabbed a 50-year-old man and wounded six others. Ahmad Alhaw whose asylum seeking was rejected was born in the United Arab Emirates and arrived in Germany in 2015. He confessed that he wanted to kill Christian Germans indiscriminately on the day of the attack. Authorities said that he (Ahmad Alhaw) has no links to extremist groups like the Islamic State.
