A CAR SUICIDE BOMBING OCCURRED IN KHALIS, NORTHERN PART OF BAGHDAD IN IRAQ KILLING ABOUT SIXTEEN PEOPLE.

A car suicide bombing which occurred recently at Khalis in the northern part of Baghdad (Iraq) killing about 16 people including women and children inside a minibus has been claimed by the Islamic state. According to report, most the victims died inside their vehicles including a minibus packed with women and children while waiting at a checkpoint to enter Khalis. The Islamic state still remain active despite losing most of the territories they seized in 2014 and the Iraqi Prime Minister (Haider al-Abadi) has vowed to retake the northern city of Mosul, the Islamic state main base in Iraq before end of this year (2016).
