A BOMB LEFT UNDER A CAR HAS KILLED TWO POLICEMEN IN EGYPTIAN CITY OF ALEXANDRIA.

It was reported that a bomb that was left under a car exploded and killed two police officers on Saturday in the Egyptian city of Alexandria. Also five other people were wounded by the bomb. According to the report, the bomb was targeted at Mostafa al-Nemr (Police Major General) but the local security chief is unharmed. This happened two days before the country’s presidential election which is to be held on Monday, March 26, 2018. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the explosion but many people blamed the Egyptian banned Muslim Brotherhood organization. President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi who is planning to win a second term has vowed to defeat the Islamic State (IS) and other jihadist groups who have killed several officials in recent years.
