Viewers Corner News gathered that a boat carrying about 450 migrants have capsized in the Mediterranean off Egypt’s north coast on Wednesday and not less than 42 people were drowned. A search operation said that about 163 migrants have been rescued. The victims which included one child, 10 women and 31 young men were Egyptians, Eritreans, Sudanese and Syrians according to the report. These migrants in their desperation to enter Europe often pay money to Smugglers who overload them in scarcely seaworthy boats and this has led to many being drowned in the high seas. Since 2014, over 10,000 people attempting to cross Mediterranean to Europe have lost their lives.
