A 26 YEAR OLD VLAD CRISTIAN EREMIA HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER AFTER STABBING FATHER CLAUDE GROU AT SAINT JOSEPH’S ORATORY IN MONTREAL.

It was reported that Vlad Cristian Eremia (26 year old Montreal resident) who stabbed Father Claude Grou (a priest at Saint Joseph’s Oratory, Montreal) during a morning Mass on Friday, 22 March has been charged with attempted murder and assault with a weapon. Prosecutors also requested a psychosocial evaluation of the attacker in order to know his mental state before his bail hearing on Monday. The 77-year-old Father Claude Grou who suffered minor injuries after the attack has been released from hospital. According to the report our correspondent gathered, Father Claude Grou was celebrating Mass at Saint Joseph’s Oratory, Montreal (Canada) on Friday morning when the attacker (Vlad Cristian Eremia) went toward the priest and stabbed him several times with a sharp object.
