Angela Merkel has been elected by Germany’s parliament for her fourth term as chancellor, thereby putting an end to nearly six months of political drift in the country. She was on Wednesday March 14, 2018 sworn in to office in the German parliament Bundestag in Berlin, Germany. The German lawmakers voted 364-315 on Wednesday to re-elect Merkel. Angela Merkel will head a changed cabinet, there are new faces in the most important posts, the finance, foreign, economy and interior ministries.
