EX-PRESIDENT OLUSEGUN OBASANJO CALLING ON PRESIDENT BUHARI OF NIGERIA TO MEET WITH NNAMDI KANU (THE LEADER OF IPOB) IS NOT GOOD, THOUGH THAT IS HIS PERSONAL OPINION BUT NOT APPROPRIATE.

When Nnamdi Kanu started his agitation with his group (IPOB), Viewers Corner News and the advisory team cautioned that he be tamed before it gets out of hand, though nothing so severe has spoiled for now which the great president Buhari can not handle. Yes the federal government of Nigeria is on the right lane and will surely bring Nnamdi Kanu and his group to respect and obey the laws of the land (Nigeria). On the other hand, those that lost their lives out of careless and meaningless agitation to have Biafra is highly regretted, sincerely Nnamdi Kanu should be blamed for that. Now with every indication, it is very clear that Nnamdi Kanu has no good intention for his people and the most surprising aspect is the recent alleged statement made by ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo calling on president Buhari to meet with Nnamdi Kanu. Such statement is uncalled for. Nnamdi Kanu (the leader of IPOB) is not the spokesperson for the Igbos and will never be. This is a man who is trying to survive by trying to make money through whichever means available to him. He (Nnamdi Kanu) should be tamed. Again if ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo were to be in power and Nnamdi Kanu and his group (IPOB) are carrying out this sort of problems to create disunity among the people of Nigeria, by now Mr Obasanjo would have ordered the military to deal with him and his group without having any second thought about it but now he is calling on president Buhari to meet with Nnamdi Kanu which is wrong. Even when one Nigerian musician (Eedris Abdulkareem) during ex-president Obasanjo’s era released an album singing “NIGERIA JAGA JAGA”, this same ex-president Obasanjo allegedly rendered curses upon that musician for insulting Nigeria and at the end that music was banned by Olusegun Obasanjo from playing on radio. What of the Odi massacre? An attack carried out on November 20, 1999, by the Nigeria military on Odi town of Bayelsa state during the ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo’s regime. Therefore let us not play holy concerning Nnamdi Kanu and his group, let the truth be told because that is the only way Nigeria as a nation can move forward. We (Viewers Corner News team) expect the elders/leaders of Nigeria to show the light so that the Nigerian people can follow the way nicely. Let there be no deceit this time around. Let the unity of one Nigeria be uphold. Again as far as Nnamdi Kanu and his group (IPOB) are concerned, he has no good intention for his own people and Nigeria in general and should be stopped now before it gets out of hand. Surely we (Viewers Corner News team) shall continue to preach and support the unity of one Nigeria and also to remind the Igbos that they are better of as part of one united Nigeria than being separated. Believe it or not, that is the truth and nothing but the truth.
