A FIVE STORY BUILDING COLLAPSED IN MUMBAI, INDIA KILLING MORE THAN TWELVE PEOPLE AND WOUNDED MANY.

A five story building collapsed in Mumbai (India) on Thursday, August 31, 2017 due to heavy rainfall killing more than 12 people and wounded many. Also many people are still feared trapped in the debris and rescue worker are using earth moving machines to lift concrete slabs and cement blocks as they were searching for those being trapped. According to the information, the collapsed building is located at Bhendi Bazaar area in southern Mumbai. This tragedy happened just a month after another building (four story) collapsed in Ghatkopar, Mumbai killing 17 people. Monsoon rain in India which usually start in June and ends in September causes a lot of damage both life and property.
