Our (Viewers Corner News team) recent findings revealed that most Nigerian embassies abroad are facing lots of difficulties as a result of incompetent people working there. We expect the APC/president Buhari’s led government to work out a plan either by giving those workers at the Nigerian embassies abroad real tutorial concerning their jobs or find solution on how to solve the problems Nigerian citizens living abroad are facing when they want to renew their international passports at the embassies of the country (Nigeria) abroad. We (Viewers Corner News) have written articles in the past concerning this subject and now we are doing so again as a reminder to the federal government of Nigeria to look into this issue and get the problem sorted out. Some Nigerians living abroad are calling Viewers Corner News office pleading that we assist in passing the message across to the federal government of Nigeria because it is so frustrating to go to Nigerian embassy abroad after a date has been given only to be told to come back again and that new date is not certain if the embassy would keep to it which is bad and should be regarded as an act on incompetence. Most of these people trying to renew their Nigeria international passports are going along with their children, the inconveniences alone is troubling therefore we are appealing to the federal government of Nigeria to look into this issue and find solution to it. Sometime ago, the discussion about having the Nigeria International Passport extended to ten years renewal period was raised and up till now nothing is heard about it. However we would use this opportunity to remind the federal government of Nigeria that most progressive countries of the world have ten years period for their international passports and Nigeria as a great country and developing rapidly should not be left out. We plead that Nigeria International Passport be giving a new ten years life spam instead of the usual five years for the current Nigeria International Passport. It would do the country (Nigeria) and her citizens a whole lot of good if that is done.
