RAY GAMMELL HAS BEEN APPOINTED AS INTERIM GROUP CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (CEO) OF ETIHAD AIRWAYS GROUP BY THE ETIHAD AVIATION GROUP BOARD OF DIRECTORS.

Etihad Aviation has new leadership change, Ray Gammell  has been appointed as interim Group CEO of Etihad Airways Group by Etihad Aviation Group Board of Directors. He is to replace James Hogan (the current President and Group CEO) who will leave the company on July 1, 2017. Ray Gammell is Etihad Aviation Group’s current Chief People and Performance Officer and also a member of the Executive Leadership since 2009 he joined the company. Mohamed Mubarak Fadhel Al Mazrouei (Chairman of the Board of the Etihad Aviation Group) stated that Ray Gummell is an experienced leader and will take full management responsibility for the Etihad Aviation Group to continue to advance the company’s strategic review that was initiated by the Board in 2016 in order to reposition the business for continued development.
