SHEILA ABDUS-SALAAM, THE FIRST FEMALE MUSLIM JUDGE IN UNITED STATES FOUND DEAD IN HUDSON RIVER.

Viewers Corner News source in New York informed us that the dead body of a 65-year-old associate judge (Sheila Abdus-Salaam) of New York’s highest court was found floating in New York’s Hudson River (off Manhattan’s west side). According to the information, she was reported missing from her New York home on Wednesday, 12th April, police later found and pulled her fully clothed dead body from the water. Sheila Abdus-Salaam was a native of Washington D.C. and she became the first African-American woman appointed to the Court of Appeals when Governor Andrew Cuomo named her to the court in 2013. Sheila Abdus-Salaam graduated from Barnard College and Columbia Law School and started her law career with East Brooklyn Legal Services. She also served as a New York state assistant attorney general and held series of judicial posts after being elected  in 1991 to a New York City judgeship. May her soul rest in peace.
