NATIONAL JUDICIARY COUNCIL (NJC) OF NIGERIA HAS TAKEN A GOOD STAND THIS TIME INSTEAD OF STANDING OUT AS THEY INITIALLY DID IN THE PAST ON ISSUES INVOLVING SOME ALLEGED CORRUPT NIGERIAN JUDGES.

The National Judiciary Council (N.J.U) of Nigeria has joined other groups in the country who have been calling for the suspension of some alleged corrupt Nigerian judges. As we (Viewers Corner News) gathered from our source in Abuja (Nigeria) that the National Judiciary Council of Nigeria has suspended those alleged corrupt judges is a great news and also a relief to the country’s judiciary system pending when their cases are concluded. This is the best and right decision to have taken because the position they occupy in the country (Nigeria) is a very sensitive one and any allegation of corruption against any judge should be taken very seriously. Again when the judiciary of any country is being compromised, it then means that the credibility of that country in question has a big problem and the only way it can be corrected is to act immediately by suspending those that are involved pending when their cases are finally concluded which the National Judiciary Council of Nigeria has done. It is right to do that because of the nature of the services they render to the Nigerian society, sentiments of any sort should never play a role here. However if they are not guilty of the offence they were accused which we doubt so much based on the information we gathered, they should be called back or retired after investigation. Those judges should be retired because they have dented the image of the judiciary and should leave.
